Donna Lee at Rolling Meadows Library

Here’s some YouTube video of this past weekend’s performance of Donna Lee (9/22/13).

Thank you to the Rolling Meadows Library, the Friends of the Library, and everyone who attended for having our trio for the Arts Alive Concert Series. We made some new friends and I was thrilled by who showed up! Everyone seemed to have a special place for jazz and music in their hearts. It was a real honor to play on such a beautiful day.  The Rolling Meadows Library’s piano is in superb condition and the tuning was spot on – a special thank you for that!

The trio sounded great thanks to my friends Frank Alongi (drums) & Alex Feldman (bass).

I’ll be playing piano and singing a bit, and I’ll be joined by some of my favorite Chicago musicians and best friends

They are some of the most talented people with whom I’ve worked and it’s always an honor to perform with them.

Current presents the Spirit of Motown, Sept 18, 2013

My band, Current, will be performing Motown and R&B on September 18th, 2013 for the visiting dignitaries from Sèvres, France at the Mount Prospect Sister Cities Banquet at Victoria in the Park .

This concert program will feature the songs from my 2013 program, the Spirit of Motown – which just got picked up by the Illinois Humanities Council and is already lining up plenty of bookings for 2014.

Artist, Clare Rosean, came up with some stellar art for the program:
