Donna Lee at Rolling Meadows Library

Here’s some YouTube video of this past weekend’s performance of Donna Lee (9/22/13).

Thank you to the Rolling Meadows Library, the Friends of the Library, and everyone who attended for having our trio for the Arts Alive Concert Series. We made some new friends and I was thrilled by who showed up! Everyone seemed to have a special place for jazz and music in their hearts. It was a real honor to play on such a beautiful day.  The Rolling Meadows Library’s piano is in superb condition and the tuning was spot on – a special thank you for that!

The trio sounded great thanks to my friends Frank Alongi (drums) & Alex Feldman (bass).

Rolling Meadows Library Arts Alive Concert Series

I’ll be playing piano and singing a bit, and I’ll be joined by some of my favorite Chicago musicians and best friends
Stuart Alex Feldman, bass
Frank Alongi, drums

They are some of the most talented people with whom I’ve worked and it’s always an honor to perform with them.

I’ll be singing and playing the piano and I’ll be joined by

Nick Ehrhardt, guitar & vocals
Andres Bautista, drums & vocals

The Spirit of Motown joins the Illinois Humanities Council

I’m happy to announce that The Spirit of Motown is a part of the Illinois Humanities Council Road Scholars Speakers Bureau 2013-2014 line-up!

Artist, Clare Rosean, came up with some stellar art for the program:
